My story

At age 5, I spun tales of diabolical seagull adventures and sunken pirate treasure as I rode on the center console of my grandparents’ car, driving down Ocean Avenue. In fourth grade, I won an advertising competition for my spot on Coke. At 16, I set up the accounting and inventory software for a small local hobby business. At 18, I won Volunteer of the Year based on my experience of how filling an ice bucket turned into the witnessing of a man’s gentle passing.

Storytelling, marketing, business, and helping people are what I love. One of my favorite sayings is, “I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I ended up where I intended to be.” I may have started out wanting to be a pediatric gastroenterologist, but my role as copywriter feels just right. As they say, when you do what you love, work is never a four-letter word.
